OK, sorry for posting this as I know and have read so many posts concerning this matter. There are so many opinions on this subject as there are threads!. Do you use this medication or that? Do you go herbal instead. Some say herbal works, some say it doesn't.

So that being said, My flock are going on three months old and never been wormed. I've not felt the need to because I see no worms or signs of worms within my flock on bird inspection or in the fecal matter. Someone just stopped by and bought four of my young pullets and asked if I had wormed them. Answer, no!

What are the signs a chicken needs to be wormed other then the obvious ones. Weight loss, no weight gain, present in fecal matter, sluggish, no energy, etc?

IF I do over time decide to worm, what is the best method to approach this? What medicines should be used in their feed as well as water? How often, etc?
