I have an incubator that has a circulated fan. My question is will this affect my hatching chicks? I had 2/8 hatch. 2nd chick was dried up to the sac which I assisted. Would the fan affect the chick in the egg aside from it hatching. If it hatches I can assist if they dry up, but would the fan dry the chick inside its egg even at 75% humidity?

Should I leave fan off even if its for heat distribution? Or keep on if its drying chicks during hatch or does it dry chicks in eggs?

I'm no expert at incubation, but with my incubator one cannot turn off the fan, so I would think that its safe to assume that the fan should stay on. I've had successful hatches at the kind of humidity levels you mention, so i would not suggest that the fan acts to dry the chick prior to or during hatching adversely.

Thanks! The fan seems to only affect during hatching which dries up the chick. Had 2 more hatched. Just had to help them out once they cracked the eggs through the middle.
