Question for breeders. Especially those with more than one breed, one of which is more uncommon.

Do you find it easier or more difficult to find buyers for a more uncommon breed? Talking about breeds, not crosses.

Really, really depends on your area.

When I had pure Black Copper Marans, it was easy to find buyers because they were in demand. But then a year later, not so much.

A lot of feed stores sell the common breeds (although mine seems to be going in for new lines), so get to know what's popular in your area.

Pure blue egg layers are almost always popular. So are dark brown layers.

Again, depends on area and season.
