Question for cornish experts

Yesterday someone gave me a 4 month old white cornish pullet. I've never had any and was shocked at how big it is. She's almost as big as my full grown laying hens ! Is it normal for one that age to be so big ? Or do I have some mutant freak ? I call her The Bride of Frankenstein. She will only walk (waddle) a few minutes at a time then flop down like she's run a mile.

Sounds more like a Cornish Rock X: a hybrid meat bird.
