I may want to get some, if i can ever settle down to really decide!

Sorry to be so stupid, but i know someone who breeds 'true Araucanas' and they are pretty specific from what i can tell--must have blue legs, etc.

I DO NOT think the EE braggers' thread is talking about these 'true Araucanas'. This is the basis of my confusion.

Yes, those are Easter Eggers.

Araucanas have green legs and most importantly no tail. They have no beard either, but instead tufts of feathers.

Ameraucanas are the ones with blue legs and a recognized color.

Some of us, like me, enjoy all three.

i wish those blasted catalogs would abolish the use of the term 'ameraucana' as their designation of EE s.
