Question- moving a coop

We are moving a coop (and the chickens) about a mile. We have to take the coop fown and then rebuild it. Would the chickens be ok overnight in tg eir enclosed run. It would ve only one night- if we can't get it completed in one day.

Where do you live? The exposure to the weather shouldn't hurt them, if that's what you're worried about. Hopefully it won't be raining or snowing. I don't know about predators, of course.

Geographical location, size and security of run, predator load and number of chickens all variables to consider.

They will be totally closed in from predators and we will make sure it is not expected to be bad weather. Thanks for the answers
