Is it ok to have a separate mobile run for chickens?

I have the producer pride coop with attached covered run for my 7 chickens. It is predator proofed and will be a great spot to keep them extra safe. I was thinking about getting one of the metal chicken runs from Amazon and put the girls in there each morning and then put them back in their coop/run before night. I’d like to move the run around my yard every few days for new foraging. Would this be confusing for them to have 2 disconnected spaces? They would have food and water and nesting boxes no matter which space they are in.

They should have no problem getting used to being moved every day. Don't be surprised if they start begging you to take them to the run during the day!
