Is it ok to have a separate mobile run for chickens?

I have the producer pride coop with attached covered run for my 7 chickens. It is predator proofed and will be a great spot to keep them extra safe. I was thinking about getting one of the metal chicken runs from Amazon and put the girls in there each morning and then put them back in their coop/run before night. I’d like to move the run around my yard every few days for new foraging. Would this be confusing for them to have 2 disconnected spaces? They would have food and water and nesting boxes no matter which space they are in.

^^^ Agreed!

You might find it pretty interesting to transport 7 chickens from Point A to Point B and back again. 😉
A 'chunnel' is the solution to that.

(Whoops, wrote this yesterday and forgot to hit Post.)

Main difficulty would be getting them to the run location each day since you'd be moving it. Depending on how big your yard is if you're very good with herding them or luring them that would probably be the easiest method. Or you can manually carry them but that can get old fast (I used to do it with 4 birds, yeah that didn't last for more than a few weeks).
