I'm not sure how unique it is, but I would like to see the Northern Lights.

Keep an eye on that. Where you are, If a storm is G3 or G4, you have a good chance. You will need your camera though, unless it's a very strong g4 it will not be naked eye visible from you.

But it happens. We're at solar maximum so for this year the odds are the best they will be until next maximum in 11 years.
