I wouldn't say this was my most embarrassing story (I would need to think long and hard) but this happened recently. I was in the front yard when my dog plowed into my legs and sent me sprawling. I got a text a few minutes later from a friend that happened to be driving by and asked me if I was alright. Those are one of those moments you hope that no one noticed.

My yard had the BEST sledding hill, so all the kids gathered at my house whenever we got snow. I was, by far, the youngest, so had to wait my turn forever while the big kids hogged the hill. I didn't care. I just wanted to hang out with the cousin I idolized and all of her friends.
Metal snow saucers had just come out and I was the only kid in the neighborhood who had one. My cousin and her cronies kept taking turns on my new toy and I didn't get to try it out ... until I had to use the bathroom. They all thought I was going in to tell on them, so they immediately surrendered my saucer to stay out of trouble. I REALLY had to go, but NO WAY was I turning down a chance to try out my new saucer for the first time.
The excitement of the ride and Mother Nature's call joined forces, and you can guess what happened. When I tipped up the saucer to walk it back up, a perfectly round, yellow disc, already frozen from the cold, went skittering down to the bottom of the hill.
Funny thing, that ... I didn't have to share my saucer for the rest of the day, and I didn't understand why until years later!

Slide the disc under the meanest one's door. Reddit has a name for that but it's not BYC friendly.
