Scream inside my head wishing they'll stop all the while feeling trapped....

Uh... Maybe I need to work on this? Ok, if it's a texting conversation I'll sometimes randomly disappear, but I'm not always lucky enough to have that option, or at least feel like I have that option, so I'll suffer it out until my brain no longer works.

I endure. I've been cursed to listen to every word out of everyone's mouth.

I walk out of the room if I don't want to hear them.

Change the subject to something they're not interested in.

This I do a lot! Especially if I'm annoyed by my sister talking .

I’m afraid I’m not very nice when someone does this…usually I just sigh a lot, then make excuses and walk away. If it’s someone I know well, I throw some eye rolls in there.

I use, I really have to go to the bathroom.

Also, if in a group, I look over their shoulder, raise my index finger to an imaginary person, and say just a minute. Then tell the person, I have to go... I had to do that a great deal of the time when working in a restaurant (bartender and server) or I would never be able to take care of all the customers.

Sometimes, depending on the need and seriousness of the conversation, I continue to listen and pray that the Holy Spirit will give me the correct words. When He doesn't let me know, I may have to go to the bathroom.
