The elderly are my kryptonite. I feel obligated to hear everyone out but once you're 65+ I really can't help but listen. Also people who trauma dump, tons of people feel the need to walk up to me and share their pain, again I'm rendered unable to interrupt or leave

I always ask DW, "do I have a sign on my back, "tell me your problem"? Even when I have my best GRRRR face on! Just yesterday stopped in a convenience store for a coffee and ran into some one my brother worked with and the woman bent my ear so long my coffee got cold! Yes, I still drank it. Can't waste good coffee. A lot of it is me 'cause I like listening to folks 'cause you never know what you might learn, even at 75.
