Question of the Day - Friday, June 13th, 2025

Hubby built our bed, and it's up fairly high. Lots of storage space there, so aside from the dust and dog hair...

Hubby's side:
A box he built to hold some of his clothes.
Boxes of his mother's genealogy research.
A box of stuff from his dad.
A tote of quilts his grandmother made.
A chest with who knows what inside.

My side:
A box of winter boots.
My kombucha pot, with all the spoons, funnels, etc.
A tote with my kombucha SCOBY "hotel" and more gallon/half gallon jars for brewing kombucha.
A spare pair of house shoes.
A locked box with a couple of handguns.

More stuff than I would list, so to sum it all up, under the mattress there's catalogs, cardboard for projects, and anything else that's thin and paper-like. Under the bed itself, storage of lots of different random things including stuff that I'm storing for people who don't live in my house. Unfortunately, my bed is low, so I can't fit as much stuff as I'd like to. I have a sheet that drapes down to the floor, so unless you lifted it up, you wouldn't be able to tell anything is under my bed except for the canvases that show under the foot board because the sheet doesn't cover that part.

Dust, sideboards from when my bed was a semi-crib 🍼(yes, I’ve had the same bed since I grew out of my crib), a suitcase, and some trash/tissues. 😅
also maybe this (if it’s a really dark and windy night):
