Yes, and if I'd known what totality would be like I would have been chasing total eclipses across the globe years ago, when I wasn't quite as tied down by farm life as I am now. It was truly an awe-inspiring, transformative event. People who haven't seen totality just don't get it, and there's no way to describe it so they can understand. I've been pouring over written descriptions and pictures, and nothing comes anywhere close to capturing or describing what you actually see and experience. I'm already making plans to travel for the one in 2045.
