Today's question is from @azurbanclucker:

Thunderstorm.

One of my favorites too. Deep booming thunder rolling across the skies on the open desert, or echoing back and forth in the canyonlands always makes me happy.

I have a couple more as well.

The sound of softly falling water by a small stream or brook. Just a constant gentle tinkling of nature moving life-giving water from one place to another. It's very grounding and soothes your mind.

Lastly, the triumphant call of a hawk or eagle as it passes overhead. So much of itself is in that cry. Joy. Pride. Power. Solitude.

I can't pick a favorite, I love them all! Birds singing, hawks screeching, owls hooting or trilling. Thunderstorms, rivers, the quiet after a snowstorm...

Heavy rain, owls, Canyon wrens.
There's a man made lake nearby, if you follow the river at its overflow (where it went before dammed), you can hike down the canyon, and all you hear is the water, birds and most prominently, the wrens echoing in the distance.
