The sound of a brook is one of my favorites. I live near one, and when we've gotten heavy rain I can hear it. The sound of gravel under my shoes in the morning is another favorite sound in nature to me. Out of all of them, the sound of wind blowing through the tops of tall pine trees is my absolute favorite.

I love cicadas and crickets, and the robin's "good morning" song. That one reminds me of waking up super early at camp.

Mine? Probably running water. And thunder. And some bird songs. And the crunch of fall leaves underfoot.

I have to add: The sound of rain when the weather has been very dry. That sound has made me laugh, dance, clap my hands, and sing.
