To me, mums are a thing high school girls wear to homecoming dances. I never went to a homecoming dance, so no. Though I did always want to walk around with a giant mum pinned to my shoulder and practically trailing the ground. These days you see them sold in stores around homecoming time, but when I was in school they were all made by the moms, and everyone was always jealous of the girls with super crafty mothers who went all out.
