Each time that's happened I've felt super annoyed when it came back on. Once our neighborhood was hit by a tornado and everyone's lights were out for days. It was so nice and dark and quiet. I've never been longer than a month without power, though, so I'm sure at some point I'd start to miss it.

Are you on city water or well water? We're on well water, so when we lose power, we lose water, which is why we invested in a generator.

Mobile. Don't have a computer, don't want one. Not very convenient for on the go.

Depends on the task. Photography fine editing, for me, can only be efficiently done on a Desk Top Computer and screen. A mobile device is a convenience.
