With good luck you’d marry someone smart and have the best of both worlds. Hypothetically speaking, of course.

Bit of both. Just being smart isn't necessarily a guarantee of success in life. Sometimes it takes a bit of luck too. So mostly smart and slightly lucky, I guess.
