Question of the Day - Saturday, April 5th, 2025

A comforter (in American English), also known as a doona in Australian English, or duvet in British English, is a type of bedding made of two lengths of fabric or covering sewn together and filled with insulative materials for warmth, traditionally down.
In summer a thin down duvet. From autumn till spring a heavier down duvet. And if its getting very cold < -5°C we can attach both to a superwarm duvet.
Always covered with a cotton duvet cover.

PS during hot summer nights we sleep under an empty cotton duvet cover.

Sheets, blanket, and hand sewn quilt that my mom and aunt made for us when we got married. It was a tradition from my grandma to make all her grandkids a quilt when they got married. My mom continues the tradition now, after my grandma died years ago
