I had a neighbor I used to go to cemeteries with. His father had been a monument maker back in the days when it was all done by hand. There are some fascinating gravestones out there.

Yes, I love the old cemeteries. I can’t imagine how much work it must have been to chisel that intricate handwriting onto those stones. Some have a lot of writing on them, too!
