Sadly, I knew someone, when young, in teens was happy. Then when 20ish, saw a couple of friends marry someone with money and they bought stuff. Her older sister married, middle class but both worked hard and did well. She married and nagged her husband for more, always more. 2 cars, better cars, new home, bigger home...depending on what her friends had. She went through 2 or 3 husbands, a few houses and cars. Her husbands divorced her because one said, he could never make her happy. She committed suicide when she was in her early 40s. Keeping up with the Jones' does not make for happiness.

I only meant this post to show that those who search for the wrong "things" in life that will not suffice, will not compensate for what within themselves is lacking. Those who search for, what they "think" is love, will be left empty.

When we realize that everything in life is not about us, but that we do play a role in determining the outcome. We choose to give, not always take. I think it makes a difference.

I'll behave and try to be quiet on this thread and I've probably written too much. Thanks to all for patience.
