Some songs can really get ya....either through the message in the words, or a memory of the specific time in your life you 1st heard it playing, or the sweet melody itself, or the people it may remind you of, people you love dearly, miss & grieve for.

When I was a child, I recall some sad & emotional scenarios. These 4 songs literally brought tears to my eyes then. They’re pretty old so I rarely hear them. Well, Cat's In The Cradle is still played these days. I played all 4 of them today & yes, they still brought tears to my eyes.

When John Denver died they announced it on the radio, then played this song. I cried then. When I hear it now, though, I sing along.

I'm not an emotional person...no song has ever made me tear up. Actually, I'll take that back. I want to cry every time I hear Taps wafting over the air at Arlington Cemetery (or anywhere else for that matter).

I hate that song. Love Tim McGraw but switch stations when this song comes on. I'm not much of a crier. Don't think any song makes me do so.

I don't cry from songs, but it made me think of a song. The song Eric Clapton wrote after his toddler son died
