I've been looking for a good pair of cargo pants for years. No luck

My pockets are usually empty BUT
I do carry lots of things in my POCKETbook.
My knife, wallet, a protein bar, cough drops, peppermints, chapstick, keys, pens, paper, a mini measuring tape, a mini flashlight, a small sewing kit, blood sugar monitor (mild hypoglycemia), Tylenol, hairband, Bobby pins, safety pins, tissues, hot hands, etc.

My shorts right now have empty pockets can't believe it, its weird.

Usually: wallet, keys, and my phone when I walk around.
I don’t like clothes without pockets, bc I always forget where they are, when I don’t have them on me.

Sometimes. The question didn't specify trousers (pants) pockets though.

Cargo pants are my default pants. I don't use the back pockets much, but almost can't deal with pants without the side pockets.

I'll put lists and receipts in the back pockets. Big stuff tends to pinch a nerve in my butt.

I have a waistpack for wallet and checkbook and a pen.
