Question of the Day - Sunday, August 24th, 2025

There are a few adjustments on it such that you set depending on the size of the lure you are using as well as line weight etc.. The adjustments help you not to backlash which can be a mess lol

But, basically, you hold your thumb on the spool of line, press the button and cast. You also use your thumb to help to not backlash and control when it stops to hit your target area.

Simple operation once you have it set right. It does take practice, though.
That sounds like it's similar to the open faced (spinning), just with a couple of extra steps. Are they fun to use? And do you a specific reason for choosing that kind over the others?

It is kind of similar but not. More adjustments to make and really more experience to use without backlashing.

I just do a lot of bass fishing and fish more power bass fishing than finesse. And, once you get good with one you are hooked (pun intended)
