Years ago, my Mom passed up many places just because someone picked up a tick while there. Everyone in my family except for one has tested positive for Lyme disease, including me, along with many co-infections. We've spent hundreds of dollars on treatments and thankfully, according to the doctor, with his specific treatment, we shouldn't have to worry about catching anything again that we've been treated for.
