And, these aren’t my chickens, they are my daughters. I am just the one that does everything for them. She has seen them a few times through the years, though.

Nope. I "inherited" the job of caring for the chickens. One of my older siblings used to be pretty big on breeding and showing I believe.

If by "first" you mean the first of my parents and siblings, then the answer is that we all keep the chickens, and I just happen to be the one the "chicken watching" was dumped on.

In my extended family? No, not at all. In my immediate family? Yes. My parents never had chickens but several other relatives keep chickens
