Rigby, an amazing 93-lb Golden retriever. He helped me teach my obedience classes. He would round up my horses for me (both of them). He protected me on three separate occasions. He played the part of Sandy in the local community college's production of Annie. And he went with us to Seattle during my DH's bone marrow transplant, which was unheard of and unprecedented. When I was a wee lad I would catch bugs, keep them as pets and name everyone of them Herbie. I think the Herbie fireflies were the easiest.
