I like to come on fishing trips to identify the fish that are caught (and the birds and other wildlife in the area).I rather let them live too. Only difference is that I don't see the point in fishing at all.![]()

No judgment. You do you.Whoops![]()
Don't feel bad. It was long believed that fish don't feel pain, but now that is changing. Reality is no one actually knows. And catch and release does not seem to cause significant damage to the populations. As long as someone is not intentionally torturing fish I can't judge.Whoops![]()
What do you cstch on all that, Trip?Worms or minnows. Or the ham from my sandwich

My guess is the ham is used for carp. ?What do you cstch on all that, Trip?

Thanks guys.Don't feel bad. It was long believed that fish don't feel pain, but now that is changing. Reality is no one actually knows. And catch and release does not seem to cause significant damage to the populations. As long as someone is not intentionally torturing fish I can't judge.
Whatever bites. Usually blue gill. We catch and release, too. The ham was a reference to an Andy Griffith episode, I've never used ham to catch fishWhat do you cstch on all that, Trip?
No, I don't catch carp. Or eat them. They are garbage fish. Then again, I don't really eat fish at all. I like cod and my brother in law's walleye. That's it. Not a seafood fanMy guess is the ham is used for carp. ?
