Nine at the moment. Re-homing 2-3 because they're just puppies, the rest are permanent residents from 1-8yrs.

I used to. She was a Belgian Malinois named Scarlet. She was my dad's K-9. We had to put her down last year because she got her stomach twisted

That is so sad. My brother lost a beloved dog to stomach torsion. He's never had another, but it's partly because they go on lots of cruises and a dog doesn't really fit their lifestyle now, but I know that was a terrible blow to him and his wife. They have no children. I'm so sorry for your loss, and for your father's.
