No plans here, just gonna chill out at home.

That depends on how we feel around here. We've got the bug that's been going around. I'm not doing much of anything, until I feel better.

We'll probably stay up until we see the year change, then go to bed. Sometimes we watch movies and what not, which we might do again this year.

Our tradition has always been to stay home and avoid the drunks on the road. Sometimes, we stay up to watch the ball drop in Times Square on TV. This year, my husband and son went to visit my sister-in-law, so I'll be spending New Year's Eve at the airport, picking them up.

The usual then- keep the tv up loud until after midnight and constantly reassure the dogs and other two cats that they'll be okay. And watch hubby being squished all night by a 60+ lb doped up Aussie that's quivering like Jell-O

We had neighbors who set off small crackers, but it was constant. The next day, the road looked like it had snowed. We went out before they started. When we returned, our dog (no Valium back in those days) had torn up a couch and 2 walls. He literally dug holes in the drywall. I hate fireworks. They're pretty, but not worth it.

We don't go anywhere on NYE.

Our one exception: when 1999 became 2000, we stood out in our field and looked at the sky.

Nope, the laws of physics had NOT been repealed, and no planes fell out of the sky.
