It's been so cold & overcast lately that the birds are constantly at the door begging for food to keep up their body temps. I left the door open enough so they could feast on the not-so-cold feed, mealworms, & sunflower seeds in the kitchen dish before they went to roost. Froze my tush w/ the part-open door but I felt so sorry for themBeing thrifty, doesn’t mean you’re cheap. Sadly my birds think I’m cheap. They tell me every day that I’m cheap, cheap, cheap! There’s never enough corn, or meally worms, or steak morsels to fill their ravenous appetites!![]()

We are going to set them up with their own space (the chicken trailer park is growing) when I get my cousin's coop. Then I'll move the marshmallows out with them too. Right now they're in the brooder coop seperated.
