Question of the Day - Thursday, July 24th, 2025

Yes, several times and loved it! Dropped a ski once and jumped the wake several times. Pumped my fist and they brought me in. DH said I was a natural, jumping the wake like that my first time on one ski. When I caught my breath I set him straight. I didn't jump the wake, the bloody ski did! And I was just too scared to fall off! :lau

Yes! What a blast!
Gotta tell a couple stories.
As I had been up for a while, I was ready to stop. Gave the signal, engine cut to idle...I see a snake! Ahh! I motioned to Go, I yelled! and I was trying to bring myself closer to the boat by pulling on the rope. Hand over hand to try to move myself. In the water, boat circling and someone saw the snake and promptly went between me and the snake. Slightly scary to me.

Big story. I'm ready to ski, husband says, Honey, why don't you take off your ring (engagement)? I said, It's Okay. He asked again, so I took it off and handed it to him. I skied, had fun then went back on the boat. My husband did a back flip off the boat. When he surfaced I asked, Honey, did you take my ring out of your pocket? The look on his face told the story. He was mortified! I said, It's okay. His sister said loudly, How come you're not upset?! I replied, He feels terrible about it, yelling won't bring it back. I say to my husband, we still have the memory of getting the ring and honey, it's fully insured! It was a 2ct single stone. We did not replace the ring but used the money, to purchase (downpayment) the house next to our business for rental income. I do have a picture of the ring, glad we bought the property.

Shamefully NO, and now it is too late, I am too old for that.

Shamefully because I live in a state that well known for its beautiful beaches, surfing culture....and here I am swimming is all I that I can do.
Listen. Swimmig is a brave act when every critter in the country wants to kill you, on land, in the water, or in the air.
