My paternal grandfather was famous in his day in the medical community. There is a surgical implement named for him. There was an article in Reader's Digest about him.

My blood grandfathers were both locally famous men. One an Anaconda Mining Co. superintendent known as "Rimmer O’Neill" and the other a State Representative. Both in Silver Bow Co. MT.
One worked closely with The Man, the other fought against The Man.
Their kids got together a la the Irish Virus and voilà! Tis Herself was born!
