That second one looks a lot like FR300 overlooking the beeline.
Both are Rim Road (fr300) but opposite ends, first one is Rim Road accessed from above Strawberry, looking towards Whispering Pines, second is Rim Road by Forest Lakes.
 
I hiked up one several times. I think it was techically a "hill", but there were basalt colums up near the top, so it was of volcanic origin. 1000 feet of elevation gain definitely felt like climbing a mountain to me. It's in the foothills of Mt. Rainier near Enumclaw.
