They're like soft, sweet biscuit. With a lemony glaze. They are yummy. Scone is not properly pronounced to rhyme with CONE, by the way. It rhymes with ... um ... CON. "Skaaahn." And when drinking tea, do NOT stick your pinky out, that is the height of poor manners and a sign of a bad upbringing. Keep your fingers closed in a "doll hand."
 
Love Lemon pie. I doubt if they sell lemon squares in the Netherlands.
