Did you ever use 3.5 inch floppy disks?

Maybe you should change that to "what sizes of floppy drives have you used?"
All of them.

3 1/2 inch. I have some 5 1/4 inch disks (I think, they're bigger), but I do not have a suitable drive for them. Folding them to stick in a 3 1/2 inch drive is a bit of a stretch (or squish).

I've used all of them, but mostly the biggest. I was a little girl and one of those things had some educational type games on them that my parents would let me play. Then I hit first grade and was allowed to go outside unchaperoned for as long as I wished, so I didn't willingly touch a computer again for the rest of my childhood.

My parents gave me old Macintosh 3 1/2 inch disks and a PS/2 keyboard to play with (cheapo one before someone faints) along with a eMachines mouse. Many hours were spent making fake cardboard computers with "screens" (like web browser, media player, etc.). I made sure they all resembled some form of real computer and operating system.

And now I have a abundance of real ones. More than I imagined.

My roommate had windows and an inkjet printer…..i was so jealous 😂
I can imagine. Windows, only $99! (or something like that).

I was real jealous of Dad's computer. It was (and still is) a Shuttle box of some kind. Well, there was a old one in the garage. That and the laptop from a cabinet somewhere ended up being the reason I started my computer refuge center. Any computers that were being kicked to the curb were welcome to my desk. And since I already had the PS/2 keyboard and mouse, I had a good start for old devices.

I think I now have over 30 computers, all with some problem or another.

I used to see people with the iPhone X. I still want one :lau .
