Are they always this jerky/rough riding? LOL just rode in one. Don’t think I would again. It was a Jeep Wrangler if that makes a difference lol
Depends on the driver and the "road" condition. Many places I drove my CJ5 Renegade were really rough because there was no road.

My beagle was really upset when I sold it because she thought it was hers.

Ah okay that makes sense! The roads weren’t particularly rough. We were on regular paved roads and highway. And awww poor thing LOL

Yes, Jeeps ride stiffer than a car. Off-road suspension is stiffer and on the road it makes for a bumpy ride. Even stock. Trucks and many SUV's will ride rougher than cars.

Yup. Dad bought a Renault or some such IIRC when I was about six and explained the H + h shift pattern to us so we (my twin bro and I) learned it right away just for fun. By the time we could drive it was like a second language and didn't take long to get the hang of it. I drove several stick shifts, both on the floor and on the column, before my first automatic, and even taught my daughter to drive a stick in a Datsun, I believe. I'm sure I still could.
