*proceeds to remember when I was in middle school, just over 90 lb, being told that I was dangerously underweight and would need to drink these disgusting shakes or else go back to the hospital until I was a normal weight*

nope. not anymore. btw the shakes didn't work. eating donuts and going off the (prescribed) Adderall fixed everything, but those 2 years were probably my worst.

Protein shake, no. A vegetable/fruit smoothie is more my style.

Yeah the adderall was the culprit there. ADHD meds are notorious appetite suppressants. Struggled with that personally and every day with 2 of the kiddos.
