When you stay in a hotel, do you eat the continental breakfast (if provided) or do you bring your own?

We eat what they have or at a restaurant.

It depends. If it's a hot breakfast, we'll eat it. Saves money and is a great bonus. If it's just cold cereal or granola or something, then no. We will take our own pillows though

We eat the hotel breakfast or starve until lunchtime because we never want to eat the leftovers of the night before.

Yes, sometimes, but not always. I mean sometimes being out late doing things the night before that I may not even get rolling in time for the breakfast and just rely on the coffee in the room.

I am a flunky for unlimited cream cheese and bagels from a hotel.

As long as it's free or not much extra, sure, i'll eat the food provided

I can't remember the last time I was in a hotel. We stay at state parks if there isn't room for us in the homes of friends/family.

I usually try to book places that have a decent breakfast option. We usually have a pretty full schedule when we travel so having food conveniently close that doesn't suck is a win.
