Yup. From St Louis. MO to Kingman, AZ, then a shuttle to Las Vegas to visit my brother. This was our honeymoon trip.

Nope. Only public transport I've ever been on was school bus.

I've ridden from east Texas to west Texas on a train. At one point I was looking out the window at the Texas desert. The train and its tracks were the only signs of human civilization for as far as the eye could see, when suddenly I caught sight of a naked man, jogging. I remember thinking I hoped he'd thought to put on sunscreen.

No, despite being surrounded by train tracks. Srsly, there's a track a mile to the east of me and a track a mile to the west of me, and they are both very much active tracks

It's amazing how far the sound of a train horn travels. I can hear the train 8 miles away in the next town over from my house.
