Baked with olive oil, salt, pepper.

Toppings are usually butter and cheese, sometimes sour cream. I can also go with some other toppings at times like chives etc.. Never have tried chili, but that sounds like something to try. I could never do it at Wendy's, but homemade definitely sounds good.

I may be violating the rules and as a result someone may scold me, but I like to live on the edge.

So, do you eat the skin or no? I do which is why I say baked with olive oil, salt and pepper. 450F for 70 minutes or longer depending on the size of the tator.

Yes.

Tons! I nuke them for 10 minutes, rub them with oil and salt and stick them straight on the rack in the oven for 20 minutes at 450F. The nuking really cuts down the cook time - I'm not sitting around for over an hour waiting for a dang potato. Often I like them as is, but my favorite toppings are butter, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and A1 sauce.
