question on carton hatching

im going to try carton hatching , its day 17 and they have not been in a carton this whole time can i put them in now , which side up , pics welcome please

Put them large end up.

Not the best picture, but hopefully it helps.

I cut the carton down as much as I can, and then I put holes in the bottom's of the cups so that there is air circulation.

yes! i use a turner so mine don't go in cartons till day 18 so you 're good cut down the sides and the bottoms out
