Hello!
My little flock is nearing three weeks, and have done a lot of growing. This includes growing their first sets of feathers. My question is, will these feathers be in the pattern/plumage for their adult selves? Or will they molt these baby feathers/patterns and get different ones after they leave their teenage years?

(I know they will moult every year, I'm just wondering if they change patterns/colors with each one, or if they do only once during this transition from baby to adult, or if the patterns/colors happening now are what they will always feather out to be.)

Thanks for reading and for any answers! <3

P.S.
-I have a French Copper Marans, a Welsummer, a Exchequer Leghorn, and Five Easter Eggers. (If this helps?)

Normally feather color/patterning will change with each successive molt.
All black and all white chickens will also change a bit but others - more so.
As you can see in the following link, there is often a dramatic difference among varieties. Chicks are at the bottom of the page.
