Hey everyone I think I am gonna try dry incubating but Im a little confused about some things. ok first, how much water do you put in when you first start up the 'bator? Second, how low does It have to be in order to add more water? Third, how much water do you add when it gets too low, because I dont want to add too much.

Thanks!

Here is some info on it..... https://www.backyardchickens.com/LC-DryIncubation.html

When
you first plug the bator in wait a while and see what the temp and hum read before adding anything, If the hum is or drops below 25%-30% add water. I always add a tablespoon at a time (somtimes a little water goes a long way) If that tablespoon doesnt bring it up enough add another (make sure to give it a fair amount of time to go up before adding more, it takes a little while)

I try to keep mine right around 35%

Good luck, hope you have a great hatch
