So... question on duck feed.
When you do feed, for them to live well can the entire feed be feed mil laying mash kind of stuff (if at the right protein Percentage)? Or, what percent of their feed should be greens?
...
But I also wanted to ask...is it possible for you to have a forage only system for ducks if you had pasture big enough for them to really look for a lot of bugs? And how big would you need the pasturage to be for them to consistently find a lot of bugs for?
I am not trying to eliminate feed. But before now I always thought I would live in a city and have to buy feed. But if an opportunity presents itself to live in a rural place I would like to really take it. So I thought I'd ask this.
Thanks.
