question on duckling management?

So I wanted to ask...

Is it safe to put 7 day old ducklings with 1 or 2 day old ducklings?

When they are bigger I would think it would be fine. But what I'm worried about is the first 2 or 3 days where the day olds don't move much?

(Only 3 of them are 7 day olds...but they seem to be a bit active and sometimes just spontaneously run around.)

What do you think?

I would wait a couple days (specifically when the younger ones start playing with each other so they won’t be bombarded by the rowdy older crowd) before putting them together. But if you have no other place to put them, you can stick them together just keep a close eye on the little ones.

May want to wait till they have their feet under them. Though we blooded 5 duck and 3 geese together. All same age but geese were monsters in size compared to the ducks.

They get along. Though one goose likes to sit on the ducks when they get into their water bowl. The ducks just lets it happen too.
