Question on feathering out

They were moved in the coop about three weeks ago and we just opened up to the run to them today.

I thought I read somewhere that chickens will replace their feathers twice before being "full feathered". My 6 girls are 10 weeks and I am seeing a lot of feathers in the coop. Just want to make sure this is normal and that it isn't from picking although I haven't observed anything that would make me think they were.

Don't worry, I was cleaning up lot's of feathers from around 10 weeks until 16 weeks. Normal loss and growth.
