Question on hatching quails

hey! I’m new to hatching quails and I’m on day 14 of incubating and have a question on whether I’m suppose to take the eggs out of the rotating inserts when they’re suppose to hatch or do they hatch in them? Thanks!

Yes you need to taken them out of the Turner and lay them on their sides. Quail are extremely small and they could easily injure themselves or become trapped in the Turner.

Um this isn't my post but I have a major question. I'm hatching quail but it is past due hatch date. None hatched but the quail eggs are rolling by themselves. What do I do???

If they are rolling by themselves and it’s not the fan in the incubator moving them they have every chance of hatching yet.

Have you counted your days correctly?
Have your temps been ok throughout incubation?
What species are they? Different ones have different incubation periods?

They are coturnix quail and yes I've been counting my days correctly. I have a numbered calendar. My temps have been fine. It's now day 19 and none have hatched
