question on hatching serama eggs

I just want to know how everyone does it. Do y'all use the egg turner or lay them on their sides? I read somewhere that you aren't supposed to use an egg turner for seramas...Any input will help! Thanks!

I lay them on their sides and hand turn them.

My partner hatches most of ours, uses the turner and even lets them hatch in the turner since we have so many staggered hatches all summer.

He's more of a pro at it, I have varying success...

Thats why I have LOTS of super-broodies. Sooo much easier.
